This weekend's winter storm brought the snowline as low as 1,000 feet throughout southern California. Temecula/Murrieta sits at about 1000 ft, the Hollywood sign at about 1500 ft. Students at our parkour gyms were delighted to discover it had started snowing outside during the middle of their parkour sessions.
Coaches gave the sessions a pause to let the kids check out the rare site of snowfall in the parkour gym parking lots.
The kids were delighted by the snow with smiles on their faces. After their frolic, they resumed their parkour sessions and refocused on the skills they were learning in the session.
